Who knew Radish seeds come from bolted Seed Pods? 🌿

Even I found it fascinating how to harvest Radish seeds. This is last Spring’s overgrown raised bed radish crops left to bolt specifically for seed collection purposes.

Last season’s Frankenstein radish produced mega quantities of pods.

My fingers are sore now from all the peeling and harvesting. But so happy to complete this task.

It’s time to plant again. Yes, Yes, Yes.

  1. Not radish in particular. I have done sunflower seeds, wheatgrass, and pease spouts. Actually, this is one of my latest projects I meant to post… maybe soon. Do you like radish sprouts? It is a great idea, having so much access. Too bad I didn’t know you last season πŸ™‚ Would have done so and now really thinking about it. Hmmmm. This is too good πŸ™‚ Lots of hugs, Sue….
