~ Weekly this is a staple of our family dinner’s repertoire. This yummy dish doesn’t last very long, but Greek and Medeterenian food is very dear to our palates and memories. We did visit Greece for our honeymoon and also took kids to see the ancient country years ago.
I tried this version, as well. It’s all right. Not as yummy as the Philo daugh, but probably second best.
My greek clients and friends taught me the recipe that they do in their own households. Basically its stirred fried onions, spinach, salt, pepper, feta cheese, dill, parsley, and mint. All combined, cooked in a skillet and filled in the cooking form with the daugh of your choice.
So I do the double portion each time, bc its just disappears, LOL.
Sharing with my dear friends right here 🙂
Am I missing an ingredient? It seems so tasty already but maybe there is a better way to make it…
I only went to the trouble to make it once, as there is/was a very good Mediterranean restaurant in town. Now I may need to go buy some phyllo and try it again. Yours looks totally yummy as well as attractive.
I had one of these before in Greece and I loved its pastry. You baked it!! Very good👍

I made something like this years ago and it was so yummy! Feta cheese and spinach always go well together – I have that combo in my omelet too!
