~ We are not quite past Summer yet although are you planning ahead for Autumn? It will be here in no time.

Enjoy The Colors

Many people do love the change of seasons and especially the display of color kaleidoscope. Nature surprises us every single year and leaves the hint of inspiration once we saturate this magnificent paint offering.

Why not plant near your own property the variety of vegetation that have autumn colors in them, like Japanese maples, dogwoods, and sumac, for example, which all look stunning and make for a lovely autumn picture. If you want some more bright colors, think about having some perennial plants (plants that bloom all year round, in other words) like chrysanthemums and asters, and you will have everything you need.

Clean Up

Autumn is a great time of year for tidying up your garden, making it ready for the next seasons to come. This is when you can remove any dead or dying plants, which not only makes the garden look neat and orderly, but also means there’s less chance of pests overwhelming the plants you want to keep – they are typically attracted to the dead plants but can easily damage the living ones too.

This is also the ideal time to get your Worx battery powered leaf blower in on the action. Rakes are great for smaller areas, but a leaf blower is the ideal solution if you want to save a lot of time and effort and remove the dead fallen leaves. Swift and efficient solution in my book. Just takes seconds really to restore the neatness and order in your yard.

Plant Spring Bulbs

Even though planting spring bulbs will not necessarily make your garden bloom in autumn, it is still a worthwhile task to that will bear fruit in the new year

Autumn is actually the ideal time for planting bulbs like daffodils, tulips, and crocuses because all these bulbs need some time to essentially sleep in the colder earth before they’re able to bloom when the warmer spring weather arrives. Choose a sunny spot in the garden with well-draining soil, and check the depth that the bulbs should be planted. Another good idea to add some fertilizer and mulch for protection to the soil to help the bulbs grow strong when the time comes, and surely you will have a lovely garden to enjoy in the spring.

Have a very green day my friends,
