~ Juicing is a lifestyle choice. If you wish to feel alive, exuberant and face the day in your optimal condition, try hydrating your body cells, as your first step to wellness.
The first juicer I experienced was 25 years ago in my parent’s kitchen. Observing my Dad pressing juices was weird. I had no desire for drinking this yukky substance and gravitated towards store-bought sweet drinks. When I couldn’t snap out of the teenage cold, I decided to try juicing, running out of choices to make my self feel better. We had no idea about vitamins then, thus, juicing was my only option. In no time at all, all my sickness disappeared and I returned to the happy teenage norm.

When I was pregnant, to strengthen the baby and my own body, we got the juicer. Since then, I switched 4 machines. My latest is shown here and I like it due to the superior pulp moisture excretion and wheat grass cold press capability. The pulp here remains mostly dry, whereas my previous, very fast juicers didn’t squeeze all the precious juice very well.

This is a usual start to my daily routine. Viewing Juicing, as a life choice for optimal existence, instead of a chore, makes the morning task a desirable and very much thought after experience. All of us drink a different variety of freshly squeezed juice. Kids prefer mostly apple, carrot, celery type of drink, however, the potent flavors are reserved for our kid’s parents 😉
Here is how to feel alive, instantly rehydrate and nourish your own body cells.
Pick and adjust to your own liking:
- Cucumbers
- Apples
- Any type of lettuce or cabbage
- Kale or spinach
- Ginger
- Carrots
- Beets
- Peppers
- Celery
- Lemon – just a quarter
- mint or basil for fresh flavor
- Stevia for the beginners (I do not use the sweeteners)
- 1-2 tsp of coconut oil or fish oil to help oil-soluble vitamins to be completely absorbed
Experiment with your taste buds until you find your own favorite juice combination. Make two servings – morning and afternoon pick me up 🙂 The juice will keep for a day or two. See how exuberant your body feels after this vital life elixir consumption.
Get into my belly!

The juice that you have pressed yourself from fresh fruit and vegetables is always superior to the store-bought one. Thank you for sharing your ideas about it, Luda!

Thank you dear Peter. I find that it tastes much fresher especially when it’s not mixed with ice or water.

Oh yes, I loved to juice and will have to try and find one here. Though I did one mix and it really upset my stomach giving me migraine. Be careful with what you combine.

I used to take the juice for lunch at work so filling, nourishing and good for those sat down at a desk as lunches do not digest so easily.

I have a couple of juicers and used to do wheat-grass a lot. 🙂 I don’t juice much these days.
