Do You Struggle With The Garden?

~ I certainly did. It was such a pleasure but a huge chore. Motivation became a huge issue due to its size and all the elements that try to invade on your hard labor. Perhaps there are useful tips to keep in mind that will help you with the maintenance. You are not alone!

Keep On Top of the Maintenance

Best thing to do is to keep on top of the maintenance of your garden. Start Small, don’t take more thank you can handle. You want to have abundance of crops, although take it from me, it’s best to pace yourself not to regret later.

Basic principle applies to any maintenance. The more often that you do it, the less likely that you are to have much to do at any given time. Keeping on top of things is always the best way to avoid hours of working outside, and that will be a bonus for you. So, what’s it going to be? A few hours once per month, or a few minutes every couple of days?

Hire Someone Else to Help or get an Enthusiast to help.

If you really can’t manage your garden on your own either because you are too busy, or because you are simply unable to do so, then you have the option of hiring someone else to do this for you. Better yet hire an intern or even your kids to help with the garden. Why not? Such quality time together and it might teach them a thing or two for life.

When you are hiring someone, make sure that you are looking at a list of services that they offer, and please ask for reviews from previous clients. Perhaps there are internet reviews as well? Make sure that they offer everything that you want such as lawn aeration services, bush trimming, tree chopping, weed killing and so much more.

Spend More Time Out There

Simple but hardy – just enjoy outside. You can sit out there in the warmer time just to relax, to read a book, or to sit and chat to the people in your life. You can play with your kids out there if you have kids, you can host BBQ’s and so much more. The more time you spend outside, the more likely you are to feel a strong need to take care of your garden. All the negative ions will nourish your body and soul in return. Look at it as therapy.

How often do you guys garden, or simply sit outside and enjoy what nature has to offer?
