~ And they react to the buzzing of pollinators by sweetening their nectar.
Friends, this incredible article, by Ed Yong left me in the state of awe and appreciation of the unseen.
“The latest experiments in this niche but increasingly vocal field come from Lilach Hadany and Yossi Yovel at Tel Aviv University. In one set, they showed that some plants can hear the sounds of animal pollinators and react by rapidly sweetening their nectar. In a second set, they found that other plants make high-pitched noises that lie beyond the scope of human hearing but can nonetheless be detected some distance away.”
Read more here – you will be mystified and elated that modern science can detect microscopic behavior changes of plants to the animal kingdom and promote communication.

This is really interesting Luda, I do believe plants communicate but in a different form we do not recognise. Many years ago when I started healing and learning about energy. A murder had been committed in an office and the only being who could identify the murderer was the plant in the office. Everytime the murderer entered the office the plant shook with terror. Amazing isn’t it.

What fascinating studies, Luda! I think as humans become more multidimensional, we are simultaneously becoming more aware of the deeper complexities of all life around us! Thank you for sharing such fascinating information and research! ❤️

I am so glad that science is finally confirming the intelligence of plants! In many experiments they have been seen to shrivel and with sensitive electrical machines to what would be an equivalent of a “scream in terror” when they boiled live lobsters near them…! Thank you for this post dear Luda! All Nature is intelligent and can sense emotions so let us love our friends the plants and trees! 🙂

Thank you so much for reblogging dearest Amira. Isn’t it awful what those poor plants are going through? At least, we as humans have a voice and the plants have no other means to express themselves. You are so right, all nature is intellligent, perhaps, we have to catch up to the rest of living creatures

I was just watching a program in Gaia TV, what a synchronicity! They recommended a book that talks about all the experiments done with plants that demonstrate similar things. I am planning to get this book, it sounds so interesting! This is the title “The secret Life of Plants” https://www.amazon.ca/Secret-Life-Plants-Peter-Tompkins/dp/0060915870/ref=sr_1_1?adgrpid=61136678127&hvadid=284322426604&hvdev=c&hvlocphy=9001617&hvnetw=g&hvpos=1t1&hvqmt=e&hvrand=8078450750433105354&hvtargid=kwd-306766081856&keywords=secret+life+plants&qid=1552938934&s=gateway&sr=8-1&tag=googcana-20

Now that’s intriguing. Sensing the arrival of insects before they get there….like a welcoming committee of sorts. Plants are fascinating, just like those underwater plants that feed on fish or other small things. They sense with vibrations I believe. But hearing is another level of awe ness!!😁

Thank you, Roy. I can’t wait for times when all the living things will start energetic communication, sort of ESP for a change. Perhaps they all do, and its the humans that need to catch up

My book club just finished reading the novel “The Overstory”. Even though it was non-fiction, it touched on a lot of the same science you discuss in this post. Fascinating stuff!

I hope more people will take the time to understand that non-human living things are also intelligent, emotional and talented. Thanks for this wonderful reminder!

That IS amazing, Luda. We humans always think we are the pinnacle of creation, yet there are so many incredible phenomena that show us how egocentric our world view is, and how little of life we understand.
