~Tarantula Cacti. Isn’t this darling, fuzzy plant fun?
Tarantula cactus is a perfect plant for a beginning gardener, with ease of care and an undemanding nature. In spring, the plant will yield salmon colored flowers with rayed petals.
This variety of cactus makes an eye-catching display in a hanging planter. Along with the spiny hairs, it also produces spun white hairs that resemble cobwebs. The cactus may get as long as 3 feet per stem in its native habitat, but will be smaller in the home situation.

It certainly is a fascinating plant, but a bit creepy when the tarantula aspect of it is taken into consideration.

The tarantula cacti looks like an indoor plant. Does it also grow outside in your neck of the woods? Its red flowers are a real beauty. Nice shot, Luda!

I thought of spider even before I read the name of this plant. Maybe not the best for those arachnophobes among us!

I love the Cacti. Especially the Easter/Christmas Cactus it is prolific with flowers. This one looks interesting but anything spider looking I am not too keen on. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
