Bonsai House Gift

An unexpected thoughtful Bonsai gift of Friendship and Care.IMG_1597

Dear friends of ours, that helped us weather out the Hurricane Irma storm sent us a lovely green thumb gift. So thoughtful and caring on their part, knowing that I can never have enough plants 🙂 Needless to say, I am totally surprised and intrigued.

Didn’t expect such gesture at all, but absolutely love the arrangement and most likely will be moving around this live dear miniature tree inside my house areas.

Bonsai is a Japanese expression now used worldwide. It is the name given to an art form, originally Chinese, which is based on a study of trees growing in the wild. Bonsai recreates nature in an idealized miniature landscape.

Now, we have our very own landscape serene nature setting inside the house.

      1. 🙂 thank you, I have not been visiting as I should.. I have pulled back a little from being on the internet as much.. As there has been a lot to do in the garden.. And my knitting needles have been more active LOL 🙂

  1. One day, you should see the bonsai at the North Carolina Arboretum. The curator there, Arthur Joura, shapes (mostly native) trees to express how they live in Southern Appalachia, so the bonsai reflect his own personal experience of nature, rather than traditional Asian style. It’s amazing.
